Of all the writing forms,  persuasive writing remains the most prevalent in our everyday lives.  Your child's ability to master this form can help him in school and in life.  In this 10 hour tutoring program, students will learn the foundations of persuasive  writing using the six traits of writing:

Ideas,  Organization,  Voice,  Word Choice,  Sentence Fluency,  Conventions

The use of Rubrics (commonly used by teachers for evaluating and scoring writing) are also taught so students understand how their work can benefit from self- and peer evaluation.

Journal writing is also incorporated into each session to build confidence and effectiveness in everyday writing.
